Regular Application and Admissions Criteria

The objective of the admission policy is to select those students who will excel in the study of law and who have the potential to contribute creatively and meaningfully to the law school and the community. The majority of applicants are considered by the Admission Committee in the framework of the following criteria:

* LSAT scores written more than five years prior to the academic year of application will not be considered. The highest LSAT score will be considered. Application and Admissions Criteria
The Admissions Committee assesses applicants in accordance with Osgoode's holistic admissions policy. The Committee considers strength in LSAT scores, cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA), varied life/non-academic experiences and achievements, sustained social and intellectual engagement, overcoming adversity and written and oral communication.  Applicants applying to Ontario law schools must submit their applications to the OLSAS. Only LSATs written during the last five years will be accepted.

Regular Applicants

Deadline: November 1

- A minimum of three years (90 credits) of undergraduate studies from a recognized university is required
- Applicants with less than three years of university study may apply if, as of June of the year of admission, they are at least 26 years of age and have minimum 5 years non-academic experience
- Applications available in August
